I'm cis and get so frustrated when trans characters are obviously shoehorned into a movie or comic plot (I'm looking at you Netflix!) and the characters talk and talk about their trans issues and as a viewer I'm left asking: " oookay, I get you are trans. What about the rest of your personality What are your hobbies? What are your dreams?"

I love how you draw different types of trans people bc I feel the mainstream media portrays trans in a limited way that not everyone can identify with. Almost as if there is a “proper “ way to be trans. That’s why when ppl see characters like goth bf they ask why he has not gotten the surgery yet but not everyone wants that and it shouldn’t be expected of them. Everyone’s journey is different and I love the visibility you give to other presentations🙌 I may not be a trans individual myself but it’s still delightful to see ppl gave light to this in such a subtle way.

Just here to remind people to be careful how you talk about trans people’s genitals and that trans visibility is about a whole lot more than still having one’s birth genitals/not having bottom surgery. Some trans people don’t want bottom surgery and others want it badly but can’t get it, which leaves us living with gender dysphoria, which can be absolutely crippling. So let’s all be careful how we talk about both Felix’s and PrepGF’s parts, thank you ✨

Same here, and as a trans person, I really love that. I love that there isn’t a big deal made of the physicality of trans characters in this comic. Their bodies simply are how they are and the fact that they’re trans doesn’t define any of them. They get to be full, nuanced characters, not just “the trans ones,” which is unfortunately rare.
