AuDHD man’s shopping list really more of a suggestion

An AuDHD man who was sent to the supermarket with a comprehensive shopping list has returned with a record three of the requested items plus a bunch of exciting surprises, it has been rumoured.

Aidan Michaels, 38, was asked by wife Paige Thomas, 37, to pick up a few bits - and in his defence, he did do that.

Michaels explained: “I did look at the list. I got avocados, tampons and bin bags - then I noticed the fondant birthday cakes were on sale and thought ‘it’s been a while since I had one of those.’”

“That got me thinking about childhood birthdays in general,” Michaels continued. “So after I put the Bluey-themed cake in my basket, I went to the toys aisle and got a Nerf gun.”

“The rest is a bit of a blur,” Michaels admitted. “I’m not sure how I came home with a puppy. They don’t even sell those.”

Michaels could not be reached for further comment as he was desperately searching for dinner recipes you can make with a single avocado.
