Akira Nuehara and Hebi-maru character design page

Remember October from last year when I finished my Character Design course and posted a primary design of a creature like an ogre and a snake?

After lot of sketches and changing one thing for another, this is the result!

Their names are Akira Nuehara (the ogre) and Hebi-Maru (the snake). Inspired in the mythological creature from Japan's Youkai (monster) called "the nue" (鵺), I created these two characters to be into one individual but with different personalities.

Akira is a hot headed Himbo Chimera between an Orc, a tiger, and a bear. Hebi-maru is a calm but sometimes depressed Chimera between a snake, a Tanuki dog and a Monkey. They represent the Tiger, the Monkey, and the Snake from the Chinese Zodiac system.

I hope to do stories about Akira-HebiMaru and their past.
