When I brought the carcass of the hercules ant to the fort, I was surrounded by Knights of the Isaac.

“What on earth is...that?”

“It's a hercules ant, a sort of king of the ants. I brought the carcass back because I'm going to present it to my father later. I remembered that this antler was on display in the main house of the Fresvald family.”

When Karen replied to the knight's words, the knights looked at hercules ant with interest.

I wanted to put off reporting to Margrave Isaac to tell him that we had destroyed the den and to offer him the magic stone, but if I didn't report it here and now, the Knights of Isaac would go back to their camp. After taking a bath, I went alone to report to the margrave of Isaac.

Margrave Isaac was not inside the fort but rather outside of the eastern fort, leading the fight against the ants.

“She's fighting the killer ants over there. Don't worry, she’s fighting with the escorting knights. I would never let a girl of that age get hurt.”

So that's why Margrave Isaac went out of his way to come here...

Finally, there's Ryner. Bram's level has not changed so I omitted him. His stats are still low but his level 10 swordsmanship and his title Sword King give him outstanding stability. There are probably not many people who can break his defense Ryner when he is on the receiving end.

September 16, 2030, 1:00 a.m.

I woke up to find Misha on my right and Ellie on my left. Huh? These two should be sleeping with MP depleted, right? How could they be next to me?

I took my snack and quickly walked out with my doubts. As usual, the security at the fort on the side of the extension is tight. And the number of killer ants attacking us has obviously decreased. They might have been reduced to about half.

I headed for the Forest of Death alone where the Knights are fighting the killer ants. I wanted to know in advance how dangerous it would be. It is a gentleman's manners to know in advance the course of a date with beautiful women, isn't it?

It was midnight and quite cold. And as I was walking along while being very wary of my footing... I saw a group of about 10 killer ants heading toward the forest. I followed the herd of 10 or so killer ants toward the forest, trying not to be noticed.

I wondered how far I had walked... as the fog gradually thickened and visibility became worse. Thanks to Sky Eyes I have night vision but I can't see very far ahead. If I come here at night with beautiful girls, I will surely be misunderstood... I will definitely only come here between morning to noon.

The killer ants are going on and on without flinching at all in this thick fog. What a reliable bunch…should I tame a few of them as scouts? I followed them and finally, I could see an outline of a tree.

In that very next moment, the killer ants got crushed by the tree.

TL: Glad you know, I even have to start writing a note for the latest characters’ stats/equipment now so the tl doesn’t get too random like ice blade in chapter 1 and blade of ice in chapter 6 even tho they r the same thing…
