Thursday stream rescheduled + Youtube streaming?
Added 2017-09-13 20:56:11 +0000 UTCTomorrow's stream is getting moved to Friday since I have vet appointments for my two kittens in the morning, and then since boyfriend took the day off we're gonna try to run some errands without having to deal with weekend crowds xD
But speaking of streaming, I think I'm gonna be trying out the new Patreon beta livestreaming thing, which is through youtube I believe. I've been using Picarto, but I know the Picarto mobile app leaves a lot to be desired and some of you guys have complained about the stream lagging or being unwatchable. I'm thinking the lag could have something to do with the fact that Picarto doesn't do any encoding, so whatever I output is what you guys get- which is good for stable/fast connections, but maybe not so great for mobile/slower internet which might benefit from like, quality adjustment options on the user side? I'm not super sure though, just speculating!
Might try it out this Friday if I can get everything set up for it, but any thoughts on this would be appreciated!
