But what i found is that other people of status have made them rather confident and domineering and brash or the otherway around They are convinced they are right and know it. Thats the only reason I might shrink from them. And so many people do that. Men are HELD OUT as dangerous, scheming, goal driven....."cold hearted"..... So disturbing, and so mind blowing if you are actually trying to find a quality woman. It's like mining for diamonds, BUT, if you grab the wrong one, a mine goes off and blows off your leg......who pulls diamonds from the earth in such a situation??? I am VERY attached to my legs, both in concept and in practice, and it's just not worth it:)

Because I see it as a one-sided relationship and if there is mutual respect and reciprocity I call it just old-fashioned friendship. In a second instance, I can see starting with just a platonic vibe to "investigate", for the lack of a better word at hand, the character of your romantic interest. Heck, I did that more than once and do not regret it.

This video has contributed to my view that the “Friend Zone” is a positive place to explore the start of a relationship. Now, I see the “Friend Zone” as a place to discover reality. There was a time where it felt like purgatory for my imagination.

And there is part of me that still longs for that romance, that is really a romance addict. There’s a part of me that still wants to rescue the princess and be the hero. This is why I’m not dating right now, because if I cannot heal these parts of me, I will end up in the same shit show that I’ve been in before. Unfortunately, my children were also brought up by their mom. Even though I wanted custody, they ended up with her. So the same thing has happened to my son. I tried to give him more male, support and modeling than I got from my father, but let’s face it the women who raised me, had fucked me up too much.

They could fake empathy and caring, incredibly, and actually possessed none at all. They were terrifying. So that’s just a sidenote, that the further up you go in the business world, the more sociopaths you will probably meet. As for the rest of the video, I projected so much onto my second wife, her face and her body, but especially her face. I saw her as noble. It turned out that she was the most selfish person I have actually ever met, and bipolar to boot the level of projection that I created, based on her looks alone Was awe inspiring in its dysfunction and self-destructiveness.

When we engage a woman in a romantic relationship, it typically takes us about six months to have what we imagined her to be replaced by reality. I wonder how it works for women. I wonder what can be done to shorten that six month period. I wonder if self-esteem is a variable in determining how long it takes for reality to replace imagination. Thank you for your insights.
