I did it on my own over several years, based on a book I read, though I probably continue to do it subconsciously. Unfortunately all my books were destroyed in a flood, & I canβt find the book online (itβs at least 20yrs old). Matt, or anyone else, do you have a recommendation for a specific general purpose book on CBT? Because I need to find a book or books I can recommend to others interested in doing CBT themselves. Re: Alexanderβs dislike for feeling false motivations are being attributed to him - essentially being misunderstood - seems to be a fundamental sensitivity for many if not most people ime, including myself. The way I do my CBT is very much like Alexβs approach, too, FTR.
