I wish real therapists had those chaise lounge chairs in their offices like ya see in movies sometimes. Did they ever? Why did they stop? At this point, if a new therapist designing his or her office orders one, do all the other therapists make fun of them for being a poser and thinking they’re in a movie? Then they wanna talk about that in their own therapy, but they’re gonna be talking to another therapist who might not say it’s cringe, but they know what that look in their eye means.
So, I’m guessing that’s why.
