Stormy Monday: an in-depth guide to a blues classic

Blues this week, and a much-requested lesson on the standard Stormy Monday. This is an essential blues tune, and one that can be approached in a lot of different ways. In this video I go through some of the options, by taking a look at the evolution of the song through 3 classic recordings.

I've tabbed out all the examples in the video. There are rhythm guitar examples in the style of T-Bone Walker, Bobby Bland and the Allman Brothers, and I've also written out what I play at the start of the video.

There will be no video next week: it's half-term in the UK and I'm taking a bit of a break. Normal service resumes on 9th June.
