Learning a Charlie Parker tune
Added 2023-04-07 17:46:07 +0000 UTCToday we're going to learn a couple of Charlie Parker tunes - something I highly recommend all of you try, whether you're particularly into jazz or not.
CP was of course a legendary jazz sax virtuoso, and there's so much we can take from trying to learn one or two of his pieces on the guitar. In this video I'm getting into things like phrasing, picking technique, syncopation and smooth fingering.

I'm away next week - it's Easter holidays and I'm getting in a bit of family time - so no video. I will return on Friday 21st (not sure what the video's going to be yet, but I've got a few fun things in the pipeline.)
