Volcano Expedition 03 | Next Theme!

Ahoy, Hoppers! 🪐

We're back with the third part of this month's Volcano Expeditions theme!

For these packs, we've done things a bit differently as an experiment. We've very slightly reduced the overall number of base assets in the packs, but have also created 2 new base maps for each release!

Ash Temple contains 103 Volcano Expeditions assets, including:

• Mining Drill

• Energy Walkways

• Fire Coral

• High-Pressure Shuttle

• Lava Salamander

and more!

For each of the maps in this theme, we've released a version with a small expedition camp, and where appropriate - a blank version. These maps will be released as images and as a Foundry VTT module, complete with:

• Walling

• Dynamic Lighting

• Local Sounds

• Canopy Elements

Ash Temple

A long-abandoned ruin sits in an endless sea of sand and ash, occasionally being swallowed entirely by the dunes. Today, the expedition team have managed to strike out on a relatively calm afternoon and are taking valuable readings from what seems to have been a former temple.

The foundry version of this map includes canopies that can be passed beneath. A blank variant is included.

Geothermal Forest

Enormous fiery crystals tower from the landscape here, presiding over churning pools of fresh lava being expelled from the core of this burning world.

The science teams are fascinated by the heat-retaining properties of these crystals, so are desperately attempting to harvest some before the next eruption...

Foundry users are able to pass beneath the canopy of the crystal overhangs. A blank variant is included.

The Foundry module manifest file for Volcano Expeditions can be found in the Full Cargo tier list, and will continue to be updated throughout the month!

Next Theme - Retro Future

We're excited to announce that next month we'll be bringing you Retro Future! These will be 3 packs of classic, early-modern Sci-Fi assets and tokens, reminiscent of things like Loki's T.V.A, Fallout, and Blade Runner!

We can't wait to share them with you.
