Volcano Expedition 01 | Lava Fields

Ahoy, Hoppers! 🪐

We're here with the first installment of this month's Volcano Expeditions theme!

For these packs, we've done things a bit differently as an experiment. We've very slightly reduced the overall number of base assets in the packs, but have also created 2 new base maps for each release!

Lava Fields contains 53 Volcano Expeditions assets, including:

• Fire Trees

• Gas Drone

• Lava Turtle

• Fire Bee

• Oil Cannisters

• Sensor Readers

and more!

For each of the maps in this theme, we've released a version with a small expedition camp, and where appropriate - a blank version. These maps will be released as images and as a Foundry VTT module, complete with:

• Walling

• Dynamic Lighting

• Local Sounds

• Canopy Elements

• Animation

Lava Forest

A rocky outcrop overlooking a vast torrid forest, where the soft earth shifts slowly like magma under foot. Strange trees and plants, almost anemone-like, seem to thrive here.

Foundry users can pass beneath the tendrils of the trees overhead, as well as the burning vines that stretch between them. A blank variant is included.

Lava Canyon

This planet is latticed by huge deep trenches full of ever churning lava, which are a fantastic source of energy if harnessed properly. This particular observation post has installed several pieces of machinery to dredge through the lava, which rotate mills overhead. A retractable energy bridge allows scientists quick access to the other side of the gorge.

Foundry users can enter the glass habitat via the doorway, and pass beneath the overhead propellers of the mill. They will also notice that the propellers slowly rotate overhead of their own accord! A blank variant is included.
