Patreon Poll - Upcoming theme!
Added 2023-07-04 11:00:02 +0000 UTCAhoy, Hoppers! 🪐
We're coming to you with a user poll, where you can choose the theme that we release during August 2023! We're currently considering the following options, and we'd love your votes and thoughts!
Subnautica would cover the technology, equipment, and vehicles used to try and eke out a life on a water-covered planet. We've already seen many of the plants from Subnautica back in the Flora Booster pack several months ago - this theme would focus more on the technology and building aspects.
Protoss would include intricate golden and crystalline technology and equipment associated with the Protoss from Starcraft. Some of the smaller Protoss units and vehicles would be included - though things like Carriers are probably a bit ambitious for an asset given they're almost 1.5 kilometres long!
Star Wars would be another visit to the franchise, with packs focusing on duties inside an Imperial Destroyer, life as a Rebel fighting for freedom, and life on a major planet in the galaxy.
Futurama would be several packs of more lighthearted and humorous assets and tech, taken from the animated show but adjusted to fit within our art style. Recognizable assets, vehicles, location brushes and maybe even a token or two!
Hopper Station would be another visit to our namesake station, fleshing out areas of ship life that we haven't yet covered, providing more utilities and themed sections for you to expand your core library of Hopper-style content (suggestions on specific areas of the Hopper ship you'd like to see are very welcome!)
This poll will be active for 2 weeks, and we'll announce the winner at that time!
Until then...
Keep on hoppin'!

Definitely think a lot of our Hopper tiles have that Sub Nautica feel anyway (and we should have some more Hopper tiles coming this month already!), but I know Luka is EXTREMELY keen to smash out more SN assets.. so watch this space!

2023-07-08 08:44:28 +0000 UTCI really would like subnautica. I want to run an under water research base mission where players need to deal with time loop conditions (titanfall time loop mission) while figuring out why this research base with mechs in the past is near their settlement and alternating with a couple of kaiju in the present. The players would need to contend with the mechs and kaiju outside, and the security staff and kaiju juveniles inside. The players trigger an armed response and eventually a reactor breach with their presence which results in the damaged base in the present. A time paradox :)
