I really liked Hollow Knight early on, the feeling of exploring below and slowly mapping out the areas was really neat at first, but thought it overstayed its welcome. Couldve easily been an 8hr experience with the amount of biomes present, theyre all kinda samey. Half way through my 30hr play through I was just slogging along so I could finish it. Also, thought the DLC was poorly implemented. I 100% what was out at the time, but it was confusing how to access what they added after that point. Silksong seems to remedy that samey world though from what we saw in those trailers years ago. Hope its less bloated
