Hi, I checked your file but the thing you say actually works as it should. I think is better if you record a video (short video) explaining to me what's the issue you are having, showing what happens exactly in your pc.

2025-03-10 06:21:16 +0000 UTChi, most likely its a cache issue, here is something you can do: - is the dynamic paint cache start/end matching the duration of your timeline? - Most of the time all it takes is just to reset the cache and restart the playback from frame 1 (press shift+e twice to actually restart properly from frame 1 ) - delete all bakes before playing (physics bakes and dynamic paint bakes -before playing, I use to select one object that has dynamic paint brush active, press tab twice, and finally play. This will force the cache to reset If this doesnt help, send me your file so I can check if might be something else, let me know thanks.
