Detailed Weekly Update - March 24, 2024

Well, well, well. Look who's back. This is the first ever Detailed Weekly Update, an improved version of the weekly update were I'll list the exact changes I've made to the game and explain exactly what I've added to High School Revenge.

The first things I've done is improve Chapter 1:

• Added a new scene with Olivia before the Tragedy (~300 words), where she tries a second time to stop you from hanging out with the popular kids, hinting at what is to come.

• Made the Tragedy even more tragic - you now get to hear the hopeless feelings of the MC during the event, the crown is now made out of metal, which means your head will start bleeding after getting hit with it, and you also get called a stalker.

• Major typo and grammar fixes.

Now, here are the changes I've done for Chapter 2:

• You can now choose to change your gender from the binary choice you've made in chapter 1, during the character creation. You can select your pronouns and choose how people perceive you. You can select either from he/him, she/her, they/them, or write your own pronouns. If you select to write your own pronouns, you will also get the choice to decide if people would describe you as masculine, feminine, or neither, which will decide if people occasionally call you boy, girl, or gender neutral terms. Choosing to transition will severely affect your relationship with 1st father.

• Added skills for hobbies. These skills will decide which main hobby event you get for chapter 3, as well as decide what events you can witness during the upcoming chapter 4. These skills will often influence how many events develop, as well as how people judge you.

• Added the choice to become financially independent. Instead of relying on your mom to give you money, you now have the 4 choices to pursue financial freedom, which will slightly lower your relationship with your needy mom.

• Angela and Marcus are both recruitable now. I have no idea why I made them separate options.

• There are 5 weeks now of preparation. The first one will force you to try to recruit Burt now, instead of having the choice of doing something else.

• Due to the addition of skills, you can now use the preparation weeks to train the skills you lack.

• You have the choice to wear colored contacts to hide your real eye color.

• Major typo and grammar fixes.

Last but not least, we have chapter 3 ready for you to explore. I'll not give any spoilers, but I can tell you that you will get to meet all the targets and also get some extra scenes based on your main hobby with them.
