May Previews & Roadmap

May is the last month for the Wood Elves as the more secretive heroes and units among the trees reveal themselves. The Forest Watch are adept at using the forest's shadows to keep themselves from being seen, while the Eternals Beetle Riders and Guardian Ancient protect the Heartwood in the old fashioned way, brute force and unstoppable armor. Also in May The Orc Marauders Veterans join in for more fighting. It takes a special kind of Orc to survive life in the tribes, so it's no secret that the Orc Marauder Veterans are the best of the best. Whether on foot or on bike, the Orc Veterans and Veteran Heroes are something no enemy wants to see charging their direction.

Please remember that these are early WIP shots of the models and not the final versions of the models.

In May the Wood Elves' last protectors of the Heartwood get added to the force. The War Master is an Elf Hero that likes to show more than tell. While stalking from the cover of the forest, it's only in those final few seconds that the enemies of the wood elves get to see the war master's skill in terrain come into play, but by then it's too late. Conversely, the Forest Warden uses the trees to protect rather than attack, using his knowledge of cover to make his units almost impossible to take out while they hide among the branches. The Forest Watch are the unseen elite called upon to protect the Heartwood's borders. They hide their position at all times until they strike, and when they do it's swift an deadly accurate, only to go unseen again when the enemy attempts to return fire. The Eternal Bug Riders join with the Forest Beetles to together make a force of weight attack from the sky. The force of the impact, the sting of toxic claws, and the pierce of their lances become a flurry of attacks that's hard to dodge. And the thick chitin on beetle and rider alike means return blows are more likely to bounce off than hit anything vital. The Eternal Guardian Ancient is the largest and oldest of the Eternals. Elves who's second life lasts long enough to become a Guardian Ancient are the most terrifying to behold. Their large and heavy form as capable to wield massive heavy hammers and spears as their guardian brethren, but with a lot more experience behind every swing.

Also in May the Orc Marauders showoff what happens when you survive a life battle and struggle with their Veterans. The Veteran Leader is a skilled fighter who's survived many a battle against outsider enemies and his own kin alike. Bringing the knowledge he's gained from his time in service to other units in his clan. The Orc Veterans are also survivors but still have a love for war and combat inside them. Experienced enough to know when to attack and when to hold back, but still able to unleash feats of total brutality when the situation allows them to let their true nature take over. The Veteran Biker Leader and Veteran Bikers are off road experts with the best machines their clans can procure. Their bikes updated with more armor, as well covering themselves with extra padding. The only thing that doesn't change is the loud roar of their engines and war woops signaling the incoming mayhem that follows where ever they ride. The Battle Truck is the ingenious invention of the Orc Mechanics who only wanted to answer one question, "What if it had more guns?" With an upgraded arsenal the battle truck is a turret on wheels, not for delivering orcs to battle, but delivering explosions to the enemy.

The Saurian Starhost get some reinforcements in May with the Dread Tyrannosaur. This massive dinosaur comes fitted with heavy saurian made guns for dino and crew alike. It's back is the perfect platform for Gecko cohorts to survey the battle from above and fire their own pintle mounted guns at enemies below.

For Age of Fantasy: Quest the Empire Cleric might be holy man, but not one that shirks a fight in defense of his duty or allies. Heavily Armored he can act as a barrier between the more fragile members of his party, able to withstand more impacts himself. Though when his friends do get hurt he can use the power of his faith to heal and rejuvenate them back to the goal at hand.

In May, Grimdark Future: Star Quest heroes get some much needed medical support from the Jackals Guardian. A protector in his own right, this Jackal would rather his party not be damaged at all, but when they are he's quick with his med kit to repair and restore his allies, at least enough to get them on their feet and out of harms way.

In May, The Desert Terrain spreads out with the Desert Area Terrain. This terrain pack is designed to be rough terrain that models can still stand on while taking up a large surface area. From oases to dunes and ruins there will be something for solders boots to trip over.

Really not feeling the eternals. The faces are boring. Should have made them mandibles.

Mike K

Absolutely loving the orc bikers!

Jessica Pink

Jackals with energy shields, hahaha yes!

Ragathiel

The wings on the beetles and the eternal riders seem redundant (why ride a beetle if you already have wings?), Is there any chance that there will be an options to have the riders without wings like some of the other eternals models?
