On the last week of every month, we’re running an OPR Hangout stream over on YouTube, where we showcase upcoming releases, sneak peeks at future content, and have a Q&A session for you to get involved. This is a relaxed stream, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at our creation process whilst chatting a bit and having some fun.
The next stream is going to be on February 27th at 19:00 GMT / 15:00 EST / 12:00 PST.

This month we hosted our 12th writing jam, and had over 50 entries!
The OPR Writing Jams are story-writing marathons, where participants are asked to write a one-page story set in the OPR universe in 48hrs, following a common theme.
The stories have been voted on and the top three are listed on our website post. You can also find a link to all the stories entered and all the information about how to get involved in the next one.

At the top of the post, you'll find concept art previews of some of our models releasing in April.
In April, Wood Elves culture collides between beauty and danger with the War Dancers. Fluid graceful movements allow them to dodge through arrows and melee with ease, while their sharp blades shift from one side to the other based on the condition of the combat. The Dance Master overseeing the party and directing the choreography of the deadly war dancer art. The War Gliders bring their dance to the sky. With feathered wings and swift speed they fly up and descend upon their unwitting dancing partners with claw like blades. The Owl Rider Champion and Owl Riders are the ever watchful defenders of the canopy. Swiftly they dive upon enemies with lances or take out their marks from the sky with bow, either way they're never heard coming. The Champion on Forest Dragon is the penultimate general, able to follow the flow of battle from the sky and inserting themselves in the outcome of certain battles, usually to the favor of the Wood Elves.
In April the Orc Marauders rile up their clan in a time of constant war. The Orc Marauder Leader is the is the experienced veteran other clan orcs look up to in moments of battle, their strength developed through years of continuous fighting against clan members and outsiders alike. The Orc Shaman is a psychic who distributes the foundations of orc warfare through magical means, helping units move among the battle or using deadly casts to clear paths for more vicious clan orcs. The Orc Warriors are the bulk of orc forces. All orcs are trained to fight from youth and the orc warriors show just what that kind of regimen can produce. They might not be the best of shots, but there's rarely a melee in which the orcs don't come out on top. The Orc Bikers and Biker Leader are the impatient type of orc that loves to hold down the trigger as they ride strait towards their enemies. A loud cloud of bullets, dust, and fumes they're every basis for every orc stereotype in Sirius. The Orc Marauders Truck is the workhorse vehicle of the orcs. Used for transport, demolition, or gunning, it's customized by every orc unit to suit their needs and style of warfare.
The Saurian Starhost get some reinforcements in April with the Dread Tyrannosaur. This massive dinosaur comes fitted with heavy saurian made guns for dino and crew alike. It's back is the perfect platform for Gecko cohorts to survey the battle from above and fire their own pintle mounted guns at enemies below.
That's it for now, happy wargaming!
