One of Epstein's victims says the secret parties Epstein would throw looked exactly like the one from Eyes Wide Shut. It's since been confirmed that Kubrick based the cult in the movie on the real life Cult of Ianna, the details of which Kubrick got from a book on cults the name of which escapes me. It's believed by many that Epstein was a member of the Cult of Ianna. So, sorry boys, but sometimes movies really do contain real "conspiracy" stuff in them.

2024-04-22 19:54:35 +0000 UTCI'm not a Dune expert by any means, but it is my understanding that the author of the novel was making a point through allegory about power and its effect on people, using real historical events as inspiration. So it's not exactly a stretch or a crazy thing to suggest things happening on the global stage in real life could resemble things from the book and, by extension, the movie. π€·ββοΈ
