Woke Dad's stories remind me of that terrible site, NotAlwaysRight (and it's affiliates like NotAlwaysLearning, NotAlwaysWorking, etc.) where people submit their supposedly true stories about dealing with difficult customers, employees, teachers, etc. - the entries were, it turned out, rewritten by the editors to fit a formula so that's why they all sounded the same. The formula was usually: an innocent, polite, saintly employee and good person is assailed by an absolutely impossible asshole, many times, but not always, also an over-the-top bigot or sexist who ends up getting totally owned by the end of the tale and the employee is rewarded by their boss or another customer or gets affirmations of how in the right they were from a "cool old lady". He got utterly obliterated by Redbar back in the day (far worse than anything of late), not to mention the YouTube docs, then years later he finally gets up the nerve to poke his Italian head out his hole, and there’s WATP & Blind Mike with a baseball bat.
