The Bibites 0.6.1 alpha 1: Gene Editor!

Gene editor

You can now open any bibite template, modify its genes, description, or name, and save it back as a new template or over an existing one
The idea is that you're gonna be able to also edit the brain at some point
Changes
Added min fps settings (game will lower the time speed from user target if fps fall bellow target and keep controlling it as fps changes (like speed it back up to user target if fps improves)
Added experimental background (disabled by default)
Fixes
Fix to lineage pruning bug that messed up the tree
Fixed issue not allowing bibites to take bites out of very small pellets
Fixed negative armor WAG lowering bibite growth costs
Fixed wombWAG of 0 creating corrupt bibites
Fixed colorpicker settings layering issue
Fixed camera movement not working when paused
Fixed bug with matter conversion rates not updating alive bibite's efficiencies
Test adding a fallback shader for the internals preview shader for Linux and Mac users
Fixed sensing issues when close to very large pellets/objects
Fixed some errors on scene change

How do you open a template in the editor? I can only modify a default Bibite.
