The Bibites 0.5 Alpha 7: Optimization and more
Added 2022-12-09 14:57:49 +0000 UTCHello Everyone! We are quickly approaching a public release for 0.5, so I wanted to do a final alpha release to let you see a few things I added firsthand.
Changes
- Synapse weight will be conserved on node creation
- Updated Pellet Tooltips for performance
- Optimized Pellet code (many pellet will have a lot less impact)
- Added minimum setting for bibites, defining a minimum number of individuals for scenarios with multiple species
- Changed Vision System so that it's no longer synchronized between bibites (less stutter, more performant)
Ease-Of-Use
- Added option to add node labels
- Added in-game scenario saver
- Added tooltips to few buttons
- Adjusted a few settings max range
- Zone editor position slider will update with zone movement
- Fixed bibites template font to fit more info
Fixes
- Prevented moving the camera and other controls when editing fields
- Fixed RandomizeAllGenes Option preventing bibite tagging
- Load game panel correctly displays sim size
- Loading a save with non-local templates is correctly handled
- Fixed scenario saver width problem

same for me, wounding if the values are bugged or if the default indicators are bugged.

2022-12-11 02:45:49 +0000 UTCStable for me in ~10 hours (Win x64). A little confused about the default values in world "default". Some are not set to default values (biomass density, age strength penalty, backround mutation chance). Is this intended?
