I cannot believe the day is finally here! My book “Luminescence: Shedding Light on the Creative Process with Djamila Knopf” is now live on Kickstarter. It includes artwork from 2020 to 2023, which were pretty tumultuous years, to say the least. Having all the paintings from that time combined is truly special and such a great way to close off that chapter.

My main goal with this second art book is to demystify the creative process by breaking it down into smaller parts and making it accessible. I answer questions like: Why do I make art? Where do I find inspiration? How do I approach visual storytelling? How do I evoke emotions through artwork? and How do I make art that is unique and personal? By sharing my experiences and posing questions to you, I hope you will gain a deeper understanding of who you are as an artist, and how your own creative process works.

CAMPAIGN EXTRAS

You can not only select a copy of “Luminescence”, but other special items as well: Five original framed gouache paintings and a beautiful little sketchbook, for example (Personally, I'm most excited about the sketchbook, and I cannot wait to hold it in my hands.)
