Kind of in the theme of your renewed focus this year. I just came across someone who became disabled at 12 years old while surfing. 8 years later he still uses walking sticks but has ran 15 marathons. You made a comment in your last post "running away from a reality you don’t like, and creating one that you’re passionate about" fits how he changed his world as well.
May be someone you do one of your documentary's about. Not sure of all his background so here is a link to his story.
