Shrinking Center’s Waivers

In many of my stories, the protagonist willingly enters a Shrinking Center with his caretaker, signs a waiver and undergoes the shrinking process, afterwards being taken by his caretaker.

You may have wondered what exactly they sign, so in this post the full contracts/waivers are being finally revealed, with the help of my paid personal lawyer Clementine who took part in writing them.

(Good examples of such stories would be Unimpressed or Proper Place)

While reading it, I want you to imagine being in an office, holding a pen with this sheet placed on the desk next to you.

In front of you - a beautiful receptionist working in the center, smiling and kind.

On your right - your caretaker (can be wife, girlfriend, a good friend, your crush - whatever you want), with a sheet in front of her as well. She signs it immediately without reading much.

The receptionist tells you that they are short in time and you have about 5 minutes to sign it.

Waiver for the one who’s going to shrink:

SHRINKING CENTER CARETAKER WAIVER

I, [Customer's Name], hereinafter referred to as the "Assignor," do hereby acknowledge and understand that I am voluntarily entering into a shrinking process at the Shrinking Center, hereinafter referred to as the "Center." In consideration of the services provided by the Center, I agree to the terms and conditions set forth herein. This document serves as a legally binding waiver and release of rights and responsibilities, which I fully understand and voluntarily accept.

1. Caretaker Assignment:

I acknowledge that, during my period of being shrunken, I will be considered the property of my assigned caretaker.

I hereby designate [Caretaker's Name] as my official caretaker while in a shrunken state.

2. Caretaker Authority:

1. I acknowledge and consent to grant my assigned caretaker full authority and control over all aspects of my well-being, physical and emotional, while I am shrunken.
2. I understand that my caretaker may make decisions regarding my safety, activities, and general management as they see fit, without any liability on their part.

3. Waiver of Rights:

1. I fully waive any and all rights, claims, or causes of action against my assigned caretaker arising from their exercise of authority and control over me while shrunken.
2. I understand and accept that my assigned caretaker will act in accordance with their best judgment and within the guidelines provided by the Center.

4. Release of Liability:

1. I hereby release and discharge the Center, its employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of or in connection with my shrinkage process and the actions or omissions of my assigned caretaker.

5. Assumption of Risks:

1. I acknowledge and understand that the process of shrinking involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to changes in perspective, physical limitations, and potential emotional distress.
2. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the shrinking process and the role of being a caretaker-assigned individual.

6. Governing Law:

1. This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

I have read and understood the terms and conditions of this waiver, and I willingly accept and agree to be legally bound by its provisions.

This is your caretaker’s contract:

CARETAKER AGREEMENT FOR SHRINKING CENTER

This Caretaker Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") is entered into by and between [Caretaker's Name], hereinafter referred to as the "Caretaker," and the Shrinking Center, hereinafter referred to as the "Center."

WHEREAS, the Caretaker is being assigned as the official caretaker for individuals who have undergone the shrinking process at the Center;

WHEREAS, the Center kindly requests the Caretaker to treat the shrunken individuals with respect and care;

NOW, THEREFORE, the Caretaker and the Center, collectively referred to as the "Parties," agree as follows:

1. Caretaker Responsibilities:

a. The Caretaker agrees to diligently and responsibly carry out the duties of a caretaker for the shrunken individuals assigned to her care by the Center.

b. The Caretaker shall exercise reasonable care and attention in ensuring the well-being and safety of the shrunken individuals during the period of their shrunken state.

2. Respectful Treatment:

1. The Center kindly requests the Caretaker to treat the shrunken individuals with respect, dignity, and consideration.
2. The Caretaker shall make reasonable efforts to provide appropriate care and attention to the shrunken individuals, taking into account their well-being and emotional needs.

3. Compliance with Laws and Regulations:

1. The Caretaker agrees to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines governing her role as a caretaker.
2. The Center does not assume responsibility for the Caretaker's actions or omissions and does not provide any guarantees or assurances regarding the Caretaker's performance or adherence to legal obligations.

4. Release of Liability:

1. The Caretaker acknowledges and understands that she assumes all responsibility and liability for her actions or omissions while acting as a caretaker.
2. The Center shall not be held liable for any consequences, damages, or losses arising from the Caretaker's actions or omissions during the provision of care to the shrunken individuals.

5. Governing Law:

1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
