Patreon Stream of Live Show Tonight

Hallo Patreonites!

I will be live streaming my work in progress show at The Comedy Store tonight for those of you who can't come.

It will be at 7pm AEST (6am BST, ungodly o'clock American time) and should stay up for 24 hours.

This will be available to Patreons of all levels, so if you want to share this around, please do.

Updated: With 30 mins to showtime, the link has been updated and is now here: https://youtu.be/wVhDhKvAOAk

UPDATE UPDATE: so, reports are coming in that the audio of my WIP is good but the video has come across as 1FPS, (I don’t know if it was like that live or if it was a conversion issue) so it’s essentially a stop motion video. This may have to do with my laptop being ancient and on its last legs so I will buy myself a new laptop, and thanks for letting me know! But I’m so happy to have been able to bring you all into the room, even if the tech was a bit creaky. It was wonderful being back on stage for an hour in front of an audience, and an incredible privilege to be stuck back in Australia if only for that reason.

Well, that may teach me to pay more timely attention to my email. Or it may not. I'm sure it was fabulous, so I'm channeling the usual after-Alice's-show vibe.

Thanks for watching

It’ll happen!

Thankyou! I don’t feel productive, which is fun - I guess it’s one of those chasing a rainbow things, where the horizon of finally feeling like the work I’m doing isn’t somehow “cheating” or “taking the easy way out” constantly recedes into the distance

Very much enjoyed the show. Thanks for sharing it with us.

THIS WAS SO GREAT TO WATCH. But now also I am sad that could be years until I get to see you IRL :( x

Really enjoyed that. Thanks for sharing it. A really great show. It's inspiring how productive you have been this year xx

Well, by then it’ll be much better!

Hopefully I'll be able to see the whole show in the UK...

Thankyou! It was such a blast.

The positivity of my Patreon people in the face of annoying glitches is genuinely heartwarming. I feel such a wash of fondness for my little group of lovely people.

Thankyou! Yeah, it was the first time I’d tried setting up a streaming thing, so next time I will figure it out.

Thanks angel! I’ll get a new laptop before next time we have a show, I promise!

Thanks! I’ll smooth out the tech for next time!

Ah what a shame! It was all old material in the last 15 mins, though, so that’s okay!

Thanks so much for putting that up. It cut out after 47 mins (flat-earther, blind leading the deaf) but was wonderful while it lasted :-)

Thanks for putting this up, I especially enjoyed it as I had to miss out on the glasgow show because of Covid. Great to see a proper live show, even if it was a little jerky on the video. Cheers!

It was a great set! the video didn't take away from the enjoyment of the audio! wonderful to hear the audience responses! and who knew emails could be such great material?

Thanks for this. I watched it on the bus to work, so assumed the video issues were on my end. Miss live shows so much.

This is great thank you. I’m just imagining it as a really funny PowerPoint presentation.

A shame! I’ll have to figure out how to make it better next time.

I have a great appreciation for you and your comedy. I am curious as to how you come up with the ideas for your act. You are wildly creative and insightful. It was great seeing you perform your show. I hope you enjoyed performing it as much as I did watching it.

The audio was like I was in the room and the 1 FPS video was a great feature. I'm told you have to spend a lot on money on drugs to get that effect when you are at a live comedy gig. It was a pity that the stream seemed to drop out with a few minutes to go so I didn't see you receive your standing ovation. :)

I almost forgot how much I miss crowds and comedy clubs - it's a pity that the video is on about 1FPS
