Love, love, LOVE seeing Goro and Saitama’s father-son relationship. That’s my second favorite relationship of this series. (First being Goro and Shoto’s of course.) Someone said that Shoto is unraveling, I think that’s an excellent way of describing it. Because I feel like that wasn’t Turtle. To me that was fully Shoto acting out violently. Which of course is understandable, since all of his own triggers can be seen in Hansuke. It’s obvious he’s replacing Hansuke with his own father just like in chapter 6 (I think that’s the right one) with Goro after Hina and Goro’s date night. Hopefully Goro comes back soon to bring Shoto back to reality! Also I would love to see Goro in that grey suit with the red shirt. 👀 He would look very spiffy.

What exactly did Goro think was gonna happen when he put his abuser with someone who 1) has an alt that was created specifically bc of cPTSD and was known to be violent 2) loves him deeply 3) only recently came down from an episode/alt switch Like yeah Shoto/Sho obeys Goro but Goro knows Turtle doesnt and he has witnessed unstable switching, So i think it was unbelievably reckless of Goro to set up this up expecting it tp go smoothly.

2024-03-03 02:51:35 +0000 UTCI'm excited for Shotos progression. Notice how less and less he is able to keep Turtle at bay. People don't seem to realise how destructive and strong Shoto is. He almost broke Rens arm, and killed his father. Its such an interesting episode, he's becoming less and less in control. Fantastic episode thank you so much. I am also excited to see the development of Hansuke, very interesting.

There were a lot of triggering elements that set Shoto off. I saw a few people mention that Shoto shouldn’t kill Hansuke because that would take away from Goro’s revenge and I agree. If that did occur though, I wonder what effect that would have on Goro and their relationship. 🤔 On the flip side I loved the father and son bonding between Goro and Saitama. I said it once and I’ll say it again Saitama is Goro’s father! 😤

I'm glad shoto is finally opening up about what's happened to him and has realised how he really feels! Although such a shame he's got all that blood on his face when he looked so pretty w seconds prior😂

I don't blame him for snapping but I also don't think it's his place to take that justice away from Goro, similar to how I don't think it's Goro's place to take Shoto's justice away irt killing his father unless Shoto actively does not want to be the one to do it. If Goro wanted to be the one to kill him and Shoto does it in his place, then Goro will never get that opportunity for revenge and closure back, which is an opportunity he deserves as the person who's *actually* Hansuke's victim.

2024-03-02 18:40:15 +0000 UTCSometimes you just can't stand around and watch people get away with terrible stuff, shoto’s reaction feels justified seeing him take a stand even if it's through violence against someone like hansuke to me his actions just resonate with the sense of justice, he's fighting back for the one he loves and against all the pain and anger he's been carrying around for so long, some might argue it's not shoto's place but when you've been through what he has, when you've seen your loved ones suffer and when faced with someone like Hansuke it's like seeing your own demons staring back at you, he couldn't help but see his father in him and it just pushed him over the edge, I don't blame him one bit for snapping like that, if violence is the only language these monsters understand then so be it

He will probably be mad however I think he will understand. It is apparent that therapy is needed for Shoto ASAP. I know Turtle is gonna say something like “Shoto promised you, NOT me”
