10 Facts about TANAKA HIRO & MAMORU✨

Hey guys, since we will be diving deeper into the plot, there hasn't been much about Hiro as most of them would be spoilers. Here are a few facts that will be valuable to understanding Hiro's character. [These are non-spoilers, This is Hiro and some Mamoru]

1. Hiro was the eldest of four siblings. However, all of his siblings passed away before the age of seven. His mother and youngest brother died together.  Hiro does not discuss his family with his children, and Sakura was the only person who knew intimate details about his family. 

2. Prior to meeting Sakura, Hiro's reading and writing skills were very limited, as he had only completed elementary school education. Sakura could only teach him up to the Junior High level. He continues to struggle with reading and writing.

3. Mamoru hasn't had a proper 'fight' with anyone since killing his father. Any following fights he had were never a true challenge for him. He currently does not participate in fights with others until absolutely necessary. 

5. Hiro initially saw Shufen (his youngest kid, not Sakura's child) after his birth and knew it was his child after one glance, refusing to get a paternity test despite being persuaded to do so. Hiro is not in a relationship with Shufen's mother and does not wish to be. He is fully responsible for the child's financial well-being and pays him visits as needed. Shufen resides in the Kansai area (Osaka) with his mother.  Shufen's existence is kept hidden from everyone except close relatives and Himari in order to protect him from rivaling syndicates. Hiro frequently remarks that Shufen, out of all his children, looked precisely like him when he was a youngster. Hiro wishes Shufen a regular life and tries to avoid him as much as possible.

6. Hiro needed five years to come to grips with Sakura's death, and another two years to be a functional person after she died. He celebrates their wedding anniversary every year and has no desire to see or marry another woman.

7. Hiro loves Sunsets. 

8. Hiro does not allow anybody else to get near him except his close family, Himari, and his personal bodyguards. Members of the syndicate must go through many levels of command before they may see him. Even so, Hiro knows everyone in the Tanaka Syndicate, but not everyone knows him.

9. Following Yaku's death, Hiro raised the age restriction for recruitment into the syndicate from 13 to 18. Tanaka is presently the only syndicate with an age limit greater than 13.
