So why did they get married for him but not the others? Or are the older children Shotos half siblings? Or did I get all of that completely wrong? Sorry the timeline of things is confusing me a little bit. Nothing against the authors it’s a me issue.

Because Sakura has borderline personality disorder which is a mental illness too kinda like did but you make rash decisions yourself not another personality. So I don't think they are aware of each other's mental illness sadly :(. She also is bipolar. ):

Sakura was hurt the most by being compared to Hiro-san’s mother since her mother-in-law allowed his abuse from the father, but Shoto seemingly was also sexually abused, or at least sexually assaulted, by Hiro-san’s personality, since she’s adamant they’re not like Hiro-san’s parents, wouldn’t that mean she understands that that was not her husband in that moment? This chapter was heart wrenchingly lovely and vulnerable! Good-good, very good job!💛💛💐

I had a feeling that Hiro was hurting in his own way about the loss of the babies. He is head of the house and syndicate. I can understand that wall he has put up to not show any weakness or emotion about the situation. I’m so glad Sakura knocked that wall down and spoke to him. Honestly when he started crying that’s when my eyes really began to tear up. Thank you so much for this update! 🫶🏾☺️

We kinda got a hint of how he was like before this mental break. I want to know more about what he went through with his mother and father- were there key patterns that triggered something for him? This chapter was amazing- sobbing for them both.

This chapter definitely confirms a lot of suspicions I had about the complicated nature of their relationship, but it also raises more questions…

Mom and dad are yelling, dad told mom to kill herself or if he can't hear body language more than implied, mom hurtimg herself, dad slapped mom, dad took off belt(depending on how much he saw he could've thought noms was going to get beat with it since Hiro was beat and we know he beats Sho) I would say from the child, Sho perspective it's a 100% DV

I do feel sympathy for him for losing his kids and Sakura but that doesn’t excuse his actions…..I still teared up a bit when he started crying over his babies. I can’t handle men crying, it kills me inside
