This one is such a beautiful poem conveying intimacy. The line of not wanting to be human for too long, gorgeous. Though all of it is. Oh, the second one you tied with it worked so well with the first. Your observation of the same theme in each rings so true. Though the second touches that fear with intimacy. A fear that can't be helped even when you know the intimacy with that other person is worth it. I've felt that line of chemicals with one person in my experience and it is definitely a privilege. In my experience we referred to it as being on the same wavelength. That innate feeling of your connection that comes naturally. It's definitely a rarity but I agree, too, with your wishing everyone to feel it sometime. Because it is a different level and wholly beautiful. Worth the pain of it too! Because the unfortunate truth is the higher that connection, the more beautiful that connection, the harder the fallout of it can be if/when that happens. But just as the poems touch on; the intimacy is worth it. Beautiful as always, Wkd. I'll hesitantly call this series my favorite. For now. I like to keep that slot open for whatever comes next.
