The messiah has come.

Howdy GGN,
The Messiah video is up. Hope ya like it. As always thank you so much for your support and for helping with the choice of game through discord. I'm freakin' pumped to get started on spooky season content. I got a lot of ideas that will extend beyond october into spooky quarter. Also, I don't know if I mentioned, but you may have noticed the last couple videos have not had a "bitter recompense" section. I'm sure there are some who weren't a fan of it and are glad to see it omitted. Honesty, I think they can provide some fun moments, but I've decided not to force it if I can't find good material. So, I haven't committed to it's removal entirely, but yeah, if all the reviews seem to parrot one basic idea and are worded kinda boring I think I won't bother trying to make those funny. Anyways, thanks again and I hope the start of spooky season has been treating ya well.

Oh, also, while I have mixed feelings about the game, I did feel inspired a great deal by it's Y2K design sense so the last 20 seconds of the video features a new logo layout that could also be merchified somehow. I dunno why I got merch on the brain lately. Let me know if you vibe with it.

Stay goth/gaming <3

The messiah has come. The messiah has come.

Telestisch

I do indeed vibe with it.

GAMING WITH CLARPTARP

Yes I concur completely, I like the segment so Im glad its not gone and Im simultaneously happy to hear Grim wont force themselves to do a consistent segment if they find it isnt consistently working

FUCKING MERCH PLEASE

SHEMPIMITE

Nothing like getting home from work and settling in with Grim. Great video as always! Bitter recompense is a section I do enjoy a lot....sometimes. I think it really depends on the reviews featured. I would hate to see it axed permanently though. And as far as merch goes, I'm down for anything goth and/or gaming you can get out. Looking forward to Spooktober content!

nnnnooooioo! The reviews section is so sick though; it typically shows and shuts down common, bad, non-arguments from people who don't base it on good faith--or even finish it. I find it really fascinating from the perspective YOUR creative voice comes out during these sections as well. Lastly, seeing then-contemporary along with modern reviews highlights the methodology game criticism took over time.. those Amazon reviews always open my eyes when they're from fuckin 2002 blasting something for now commonly praised reasons, etc. IDK: The segment needs to remain alive, I'd love to see it do so, but if the hate and weight of doing so is getting to you, I'm sorry. It's a really unique closer and breathing space structurally before Conclusion that highlights your Voice and thought process critically imho. The War On Strawmen must be funded further! My wife always love to watch that part in particular to see just what banal opinions or reads of a game come out, regardless if it was right around launch or a modern 14 edgelord ranting about how much it sucks, is overhpyed and old people suck, etc. Hope you're well: sppppooooookie moooooooonth!

Fingers crossed for a Silent Hill 2 review this month, but I'll be happy with whatever spooky content you decide to put out.

Inside My Strange Place

Yes can’t wait to watch this. I like bitter recompense as it’s a bit of a unique feature but if there’s nothing fun to be said about a title then yeah definitely cool with skipping it.

I enjoy the Bitter Recompense sections, but I agree you shouldn't try to force it if all the reviews don't provide good material. Appreciate you not removing it entirely.
