NAMES LIST CHANGE FINAL WARNING! (Generations 2 post tomorrow btw)

Fast summary:

- Names list is changing to OPT-OUT starting in TWO DAYS TIME
- Your shout out/end credits name will be whatever is on Patreon
- If you use your real name on Patreon I will shorten it to first name then last name intial. Purely for privacy reasons! For example: John S, rather than John Smith.
- If you don't want a shoutout/end credits send me a message and I'll remove you ASAP!
- Names that are inflamatory, politically charged, swear words, etc won't be read out.

Hello! As I have talked about ad naseum, I am changing the Patreon shout out/end credits from opt-in to opt-out. This will save you all time messaging me requesting a shout out, and will save me plenty of time every month manually going through all 1000+ names to make sure the people on the list have opted-in. It was a system that worked fine for a while but now there are just too many names to keep track of!

It takes two seconds to change your nickname on Patreon if you'd prefer something else being read out, just follow the links above. If you have signed up with your real name, I'll be shortening it to first name, then last name initial. John S, rather than John Smith. This way if someone blindly signs up to the Patreon without realising they go on the credits then their name isn't out there in the world - not that anything bad would happen of course, all Youtuber's who have end credits do it this way.

If you want to opt-out, send me a message here ASAP, and I'll remove you from the list. Though I don't understand why you would want to do that, I understand people might have specific reasons, or privacy concerns, or a name that no longer reflects their identity (I've helped people with this before, get in touch and we'll see if we can fix the shout out for you!), and I'm more than happy to remove any names for whatever reason!
