Well, I guess I now remember more and more why Betty was a rather annoying character. For me it involves what she teaches her daughter especially. From "being fat" and other stuff like fighting with her infront of others when Betty realizes she is the age of the daughter of her new partner. Which is also interesting regarding age differences and when they seem appropiate... . Of course Betty's mother and the patriarchy derserve most of the general blame, but I when Sally suffers, ya know.
