Added 2025-05-26 07:49:08 +0000 UTCI have been so far ignoring this mod for the longest time because it had the following issues:
couldn't disable all of it's functionality to decide what you want and what you don't want to use.
reports of significant overhead which lead to poor performance in scenes overall.
bugfix patches coming out faster than I could download the latest version.
But recently I tried the latest BodyLanguage and none of these issues were there anymore! This mod was created for "casual" VAM players so that they could just pose a character and make the character playable with just one plugin. People who don't have time to \ don't know how to animate, script etc. But even for this Patreon BL offers some really neat features:
triggers per specific body part touched
triggers per specific body part slapped
triggers per specific body part player is looking at
somewhat nice gaze, altho remains to be tested how well it blends in \ out of Timeline
That interests me very much, and I will definitely be doing a scene based on that, with the girl reacting to your VR interactions (yes, Desktop is not very possible here). Kind of like what I was trying to do with Homegrown long time ago. But given this is highly-specific, I will probably be integrating this to an already made scene (so at least there is still "base version" of the scene still available for the Desktop folk). Will probably revise my plans for Haven for Thought for this.
It's a very fun thing to do in VAM to have these dynamic interactions, but I will have to see what the workflow is with it to decide whether I have to make BL-specific scenes or I could afford to integrate it into my usual workflow (which right now seems highly unlikely).
