How to load own Look without clothing
Added 2024-09-06 16:09:30 +0000 UTCMany of my scenes come with outfits which are scripted with different triggers. One pose the skirt is down, another it is lifted etc. Movie night straight up undresses some of the clothing to keep performance in check.
And I'm not sure everyone knows about this:
Go to Control & Physics 1 tab of Person atom -> Preset Locks Overview -> check Clothing Presets.
When this is checked, this will load your Look with everything but clothing items, the clothing items will remain of the scene's choice.
The only downside to this is if your look uses different Eye clothing items and\or relies on some clothing-based makeup, it will not transfer. But I don't use that many looks and for all my favorites I keep specific clothing presets that only contain such things and nothing more, which I can just merge-load after changing Clothing Preset. You can just mergeload your look-specific eye and makeup items after loading them into my scene and disable Eye clothing items that my models use. I never script eye clothing items.
