The Dean looked at his granddaughter and let out a sigh. “Claire. I am warning you. If you end up trying to get revenge, I will not protect you.”

“Fine!” Claire had tears in her eyes as she clenched her fists and stomped her feet before running out of the office, slamming the door in her wake. She was so used to getting her own way and to be told that she would not get any help was something she could not take. For the first time in her life, she was being told no!

Claire stormed out of the room, biting the tips of her fingernail on her thumb. Her teeth grinding together. She could not take it. Not only was the bitch taking her position as the academy goddess, but she was even being protected by her grandfather. The person who allowed her to run rampant around the Academy.

“I will make her pay no matter what!” Claire’s eyes flashed with burning rage. She had to go talk to a few people and make a few plans.

“Fuwah!” Yuki yawned as she laid her head on Nana’s lap. Nana’s scent always relaxed her. Nana was sitting up in bed, looking at the fox girl curled up at her side and smiled. She used her skinny, wrinkled hand to gently stroke the top of Yuki’s head. Nana felt truly blessed to have a lover like Yuki, who would never abandon her.

“Yuki, what do we do from here? Silvia, Selene, and Chi are still out there.” Delia was worried about her sisters. She did not know what troubles they would get into without Yuki around.

“Selene is very level-headed, so I am sure they will be fine. While I do worry about them, Lilly’s father has people actively searching for any signs of them as well. My divine sense won’t encompass the entire planet. I can only hope they are on the same continent as us. Once I get my hands on all the space-time books in the academy, we will leave and begin searching for them.” Yuki wanted to rush off now, but the books on space-time magic was something she needed for Nana. She also knew the other girls would not mind her delaying a bit to search for them if it was to save Nana. In fact, they would get mad at her if she did not stay to get what she needed to protect Nana.

“I guess that is true…” Delia pursed her lips. She was just anxious. She also knew Yuki would run out to look for them if she could, but right now, she was trying to save Nana.

The next day Yuki and Lilly were dropped off in front of the Academy as per norm. Yuki was the first to get out to find a certain person standing at the academy gates with a large group of boys and girls at her side. When their eyes met, the girl smirked before walking towards Yuki.

“Lilly, stay in the carriage. Hubert, be ready to take off at my command.” Yuki’s eyes fell on the carriage driver, who quickly nodded his head.

“Yuki? What’s wrong?” Lilly asked, but the door to the carriage was slammed shut, smacking her in the nose.

“If it isn’t Miss Yuki, the new academy goddess.” Claire came to a stop in front of Yuki. Two older men who seemed to be in their late twenties stepped forward.

“I do not see what is so good about her. She looks like a slut who slept her way into the school. No wonder the Dean wishes to protect her.” One of the young men said with a snort.

“Now, now. While she does not meat Miss Benson’s beauty, she is at least worth a taste, is she not?” The other man was scanning Yuki’s body with a lust-filled grin.

“Oh?” Yuki stepped forward, her delicate-looking snow-white fist thrusting forward, smashing it into the lusty young man’s face. His head could not take the impact and exploded in a rain of blood.

“AhhH!” Cries filled the area as an excited smirk formed on Yuki’s face. It had been a while since she had seen blood rain from the sky.

“A lovely day for a blood shower.” Yuki tilted her head to the side and looked at Claire, who was standing there frozen in place. “Miss Benson, the only reason I have yet to kill you is because your grandfather is doing me a favor. If I so wish, your life would be like this. Snuffed out with a single punch. No… not even a punch. I could flick my finger and make your head explode. Your little party tricks are nothing. Where I come from, death is waiting at every corner. You could die if you let your guard down.

“But that does not mean I will tolerate you. I do not know who this young man is, nor do I care. I only know one thing. You fuck with me. I will kill you. This goes for every person here. You touch me or those around me. I will not only murder you but your entire family down to the last cell. I do not discriminate against age or gender. I will wipe your blood lines from this world if you try to test me further. Let this bloody mess be your first and final warning.”
