TROA) New Findings

“How!?” One of the soldiers cried out. He looked at me as if I was some kind of monster. I knew phase tech was very top secret until it was revealed, and people like me were tasked with learning what they could to make weapons using this technology. 

“Just show me where it is. If not, I will crush his head into paste here and now.” I said while using my toes to drill my shoe into the man’s head into the ground more.

“Captain, what do we do?” One of the soldiers whispered to another.

“Just do it. It doesn’t seem like we got a choice.” The captain replied. I chuckled since they were trying to be quiet, but I could hear them easily. I reached down and grabbed their leader by the throat and said: “Lead the way.”

 The man in my hands was out like a light. I knocked him out so he would not flail around while I dragged him behind me, and the soldiers in front continued to lead the way. Some even asked if they should try to ambush me. Even when they looked back at me, I only smiled back at them. I guess my fearless smile was enough to make them forget about any idea of ambushing me. Plus, I have their leader in my hands.

I was brought to a large lab on the first floor that had the basics of phase energy, which made me frown. “This is all shit. I know all of this. I want to see what kinds of real-world applications you are using phase energy for. I want to see the weapons.”

The one leading the soldier’s face contorted a bit. He motioned with his head to one of his soldiers, who led the way to another elevator. This was a big elevator that led to the floors below.

We went down to the bottom floor, where I was met with a huge facility. And I mean huge. There was a large hangar where a ship of some kind was being made. I really wanted not only the blueprints and data for this thing but the ship itself! I had never seen such a thing in my previous life. My guess is that this place was definitely raided by someone. Either the replicators or humans. Either this was destroyed, or it was found, but no one knew how to get it out.

“Very interesting. Take me to where all the data and blueprints are. I want full schematics for this.” I ordered without any hesitation. I wanted everything!

“We… can’t….” The man who just spoke froze on the spot as a blue beam flew past his face.

“I wasn’t asking. I was ordering you. At this moment, I am god. And when god says to get her something, it means to get her something. So go get it! While you are doing that, I will go down and take the ship.” I said with a snort. I could see the soldiers getting mad. Some even had an itchy trigger finger. But now that they had seen what kind of weapon I had, it seemed they were a little more scared of me. 

“That weapon….” The captain of the group looked at me in shock. “How!? Only this facility has this kind of tech….”

“Don’t ask stupid questions. Just take me down to the damn ship!” I ordered once more. The man finally shut up and nodded his head.

I took a lift down to the hangar floor and walked over to the ship that made me seem very tiny. Such a ship was out of this world. But something I found curious was the material the ship was made out of. “This material…..” 

I took a spider out of my inventory, scaring the crap out of the soldiers and scientists that were standing behind me, and analyzed both metal types. “How? How did you get a material that has never formed on Earth? This is not synthetic!”

“Miss…. This is indeed not metal from Earth but mined from the Kuiper Belt. It’s a rare mineral within our solar system. We found an entire asteroid of it and have been farming it since the early sixties.” One of the scientists replied.

“So you are telling me that our government has been mining shit from off world for almost a decade? But they can’t even take care of a few spiders!? Did  they not capture a few spiders and test them?” I asked. I couldn’t believe it. If they knew about this type of mineral. Then, shouldn’t they be able to get past its defenses?

“Its…. This is a secret project being run by a different organization that is under a higher power that even the president can’t go against. You may not know this. But humans are not the only race on this planet. We just dominate the land.” The scientist’s words were quite shocking. I had never heard of such a thing. But I guess it would make sense in a way. It would explain quite a few things about this world. But to think a power that rules over the world…. But at the same time…. “Alright, I have decided. All of you white coats will come to my base to continue your research.  Gather your things and all the items you need. If you need it brought down to this level, then bring it. All this tech. I will be taking it.”
