Neo) The Beauty Returns!

Neo, Mei Ling, and Princess Feng were all brought to a white high rise where A certain person captured Neo’s attention almost instantly. “All female students will….. What are you doing?”

“Hmmm? I am appreciating how smooth your skin is.” Neo replied as she rubbed her cheek on the beautiful woman’s arm.

“I can see that, and thank you for the compliment, but my question is, what are you doing!?” The beautiful woman tried to pull her arm away but was surprised to see that she couldn’t even move it! The damned young girl had such a hold on it that she could not pull it back even when she used her full strength! What made things even stranger was how she was not even holding on tightly to her but was holding it gently.

“Neo!” Princess Feng rushed over, grabbed Neo by the ear, and pulled her away. 

“Ouch! Why are you tugging on my ear!?” Neo cried out. “Let me snuggle up with the beauty!”

Neo was like a child in how she was acting as if Princess Feng had stolen her candy. Her pitful expression was even making the beauty, Elder Ning, feel slightly bad, as if she had done something horrible to the girl.

“Ahem….” The academy master, who had been standing there the entire time, coughed lightly. “All girls will follow Elder Ning to your rooms. Boys will follow me.”

Elder Ning nodded at the headmaster and clapped her hands. With Neo being restrained by Princess Feng and Mei Ling, who came to join in on keeping Neo from jumping on Elder Ning again, Elder Ning could finally address the few girls that had joined the academy. “All of you are fresh recruits, so you will be bunked by twos and threes. When I call your name, get into a small group.”

Elder Ning looked at all the girls before yelling out: “Neo, Zhao Jia, and Mei Ling are group one!”

Elder Ning continued until she had five groups. There were more boys than girls who passed this time around, which was not out of the ordinary since more girls would be getting married around this age. Only those without families or from prestigious cultivation families would send their daughters to the academy. And only then it was only if they had the talent to do so. 

“Follow me!” Elder Ning brought the girls into the high rise that had two hundred floors. They all got into an elevator and arrived on the first floor. They disembarked to find themselves in a carpeted hallway with dim lighting. The lights flickered on and off, and the wallpaper on the walls also seemed to be peeling off.

“Is this a slum?” One girl asked.

“This is the living environment for those who first join and those who have yet to beat someone on a higher floor. If you wish for better living conditions, then I would suggest growing in strength and challenging your seniors. The amount of spiritual qi that you get will also be determined by which floor you are living on as well. The higher the floor, the denser the spiritual qi.” Elder Ning’s words made many of the girls frown. They had all come from rich families. How were they supposed to live in a place that looked like a slum?

“Beauty, how about me and you share a bed?” Neo was once more next to Elder Ning, hugging her arm. She looked up at Elder Ning with her big eyes and blinked them innocently, trying to act cute. 

Elder Ning looked at the girl who was shamelessly hitting on her and wanted to kick her to the side! But she knew from last time that it was probably impossible! Luckily, she did not need to do anything as two girls walked over and both grabbed Neo by the ear and dragged her away. “You’ll rip my ears off!”

“Then stop harassing Elder Ning!” Princess Feng yelled out.

“Stop yelling at Neo! We already tugged her ear. That is enough punishment!” Mei Ling went right to defending Neo again, even though she was half to blame for the not so much pain in Neo’s ears. Her stats were so high, how could she feel any pain? She was just enjoying the fact two cutties seemed to be jealous.

“You!” Princess Feng could only point her finger at Mei Ling in anger. In the end, she did not say more and just snorted.

“Okay. Okay. Let me make this clear. Even if you are bunking together, you still must defeat a senior sister alone. There is no tag team matching. Now that you know, I will take you to your rooms.” Elder Ning turned around and brought the girls to the worst area of the floor. There was a thick, musty smell, and even the spiritual qi here was not very thick. The walls were partially broken, and even in one room, you could see inside. 

“I will let you choose your rooms. But you only have the choice of the five rooms here. If you wish to challenge someone later to get a room at the other end of the hall, it is up to you. But just know, once a challenge has been issued, as long as that person’s cultivation is lower, they must accept the challenge.” This was basically saying if Neo wanted to beat people up, all she had to do was challenge them to a fight whether they wanted to fight or not.
