Neo) Too Weak!

“Alright, everyone calm down!” The academy master’s voice boomed through the air. “I can guarantee that Neo did not cheat. This is the end of the discussion. If anyone says another word about this, then I will ask you to leave the academy now!”

With the academy master’s intervention, what more could they say? If the academy master said that she really did get so many cores, then it had to be true. But from how the two interacted just not it seemed that the academy master and Neo had some kind of relationship.

This thought alone was enough to make many people’s minds spin. But one thing was for sure that even though no one was talking about it openly, some thought Neo needed to be dealt with in one way or another. Little did they know they were already moving towards their own doom.

Neo could only snort in dissatisfaction. She made sure to remember everyone who called her a cheater. She was someone who would not let things go lightly! A young boy who was eating a lollipop once gave her stank eye, and she snatched the boy’s lollipop right out of his hand! It had nothing to do with the fact that she wanted a lollipop! Even though it tasted like blue raspberry and was quite delicious, she only took it because the little boy gave her stank eye. Or maybe he was just squinting. It didn’t matter. He shouldn’t have squinted at her either.

“Now that the tests are over, those who have turned in cores are now part of this academy. You can not leave this academy for one year. Only after you get the basic training will you be permitted to leave the academy and take a mission outside the city walls. At that point, you can start to earn Academy Credits, or how it is normally referred to as AC. Ac will allow you to buy resources from the Academy Treasure Pavilion. For now, I will take you to your dorm rooms.” The academy master announced before waving for everyone to follow him.

The academy took up a lot of land and even had to have the city walls adjusted in order to allow for more space for such a large place. The dorm buildings alone were over two hundred floors high.  And there were quite a few of them. The academy could house a few million people, which since its opening had slowly been filling up every year. As the number of people in Neo City grew. Now, space for new students were few. This meant this time around, many people would need to bunk together in twos and threes. And because of this new headache, it can be said to be a certain young woman who still had a sour face on as she kicked small rocks at people’s feet, making them trip. Luckily, she was not using much strength, so it would only cause a bruise at most.

“Ouch who did that!?”

“Damn it, my shin!”

The academy master quickly turned around when he heard yelling and looked at the twenty or so youngsters behind him and frowned when he saw six of them on the ground rubbing their shins. “Are you unable to walk!? Why the hell are you all on the ground!? Get up or get out!”

The academy master snorted. He was already angered to death that he had to give out so many extra resources. Now, he found that some of these kids were weak in the knees! Those who were on the ground could only grit their teeth and get up. If they were kicked out because they tripped, how much face would they have left when they returned to the outside world.

To these kids, the academy was a place of heaven for cultivators, which is why so many disliked Neo. They could tell she had no cultivation! This was also why they called her a cheater. They did not understand how a trash with no cultivation could even get into the academy, to begin with!

Princess Feng gazed at Neo, who seemed to be behaving herself with a bit of suspicion in her eyes. She felt that the others falling definitely had something to do with Neo, but she could not figure out what it was.

“Ouch! Damn it!” Another one fell. He was the young man who had scored twenty points earlier and was proud of his results.

But now, this same young man who was very proud before was sweating buckets as he looked up to see the academy master looking down at him. “What the hell did I just say!? Huh!? You are too weak! Leave! Now!”

The academy master’s booming voice rang through the air, causing many to almost kneel down. But they stood strong, not daring to even bend their knees. They could only look at the young man at the side with pity.

“Academy master! I did not fall because I am too weak! I fell because something hit me in the back of my shin!” The young man did not want to leave!

“So what!? Even if the damn sky fell on your head, making you fall to the ground I will say you are too weak. Leave before I throw you over the damn walls myself!” The academy master did not care, even if he was a genius! He wanted to reduce the numbers! So he was actually applauding the person who did mess with these kids!
