I was glad at first they didn't slap all the trauma in at the end of the show and gave it upfront instead. However, I feel like they aren't highlighting other things that matter properly. King clearly has feelings. Uea might also, but his tendency to seem numb to most things is at least understandable. What I need from this show is someone (probably King or, hopefully, even Jade) to give Uea some push to fight for himself. King at least notices that something is wrong, and he's obviously trying to break down Uea's walls. I don't know what it'll take but maybe by the ending they'll give us something to say the watch was worth it. Even Unforgotten Night accomplished that when I came to the conclusion the show must have been intended for comedy but missed the mark. That might be mean to say, but I largely found the show fascinatingly hilarious.
