Vanilla Gravships Expanded: Chapter 1 transforms gravships from simple mobile bases into living, maintainable vessels that serve as the heart of your colony’s journey.
Instead of a late-game convenience, your gravship becomes something to build, upgrade, and care for. This chapter focuses on foundations, not flash: the essential systems that make a ship feel alive: oxygen, fuel, power, heat, and crew management.
Over time, your vessel grows from a fragile atmospheric shuttle into a self-sustaining orbital gravship.
Because this is a full gravship overhaul, any mod that modifies gravships will likely be incompatible.

2026-01-05 11:58:21 +0000 UTCHi Oskar, is it intentional that the "normal Constructoids" are able to maintain the GravShip? I believe you wrote, that "Astronauts" are needed for this. Or do I misremember? (Yes, I am back to RimWorld! ;) )

2026-01-05 11:56:22 +0000 UTCI have no idea why the ammo isn’t makeable in our small fabrication bench. Sounds like maybe CE hasn’t patched it yet. Nothing can be done on my end - the other recipes work just fine. Try maybe changing up the load order of mods?

2025-12-18 20:55:34 +0000 UTCI am having a problem with making charge ammo from the new compact fabrication bench you can make with this mod. Is this intended or a just a problem on my side? Basically I run CE and need to make more 6x24 charge ammo, something I could do with my old large vanilla fabrication bench. Once I researced the new compact fabrication bench from this mod I dismantled the old big one and built the new smaller one. But it seems it can't make charge ammo. Can you fix or do I need to rebuild and fit the old one in my ship

2025-12-18 20:25:20 +0000 UTCDefinitely before. Just so we’re perfectly clear: Vanilla Factions Expanded - Mechanoids seizes to exist completely as you know it. The factories are becoming a separate mod, and anything that’s left is completely eclipsed by Biotech DLC anyway. Theres nothing left. Everything needs to be designed and made from scratch. It’s a whole huge Factions Expanded mod that needs to become reality from nothing at all. If it even comes in 2026 it’ll be a miracle. It’s many, many long months away.
