This is such a bad film. They used to make and do any kind of shit in the name of comedy, which sucks. This is not comedy, this is torture.

So many other better Priyadarshan comedies like Hungama, Hulchul, Chup Chup Ke, Yeh Tera ghar yeh mera ghar, malamaal weekly and these idiots watch the shitty overrated ones like garam masala, Bhagam bhag, and now this! What do these movies have in common: akshay kumar. And thatβs why these two dumbasses picked those. They need to stop kissing akshay kumarβs ass and give those other films a chance !!!

It became a hit, surprisingly (to me at least), mostly because people liked the silliness and the music, but it was a "silly movie", not a "film", and the plot was very, very weak, not making any real sense in many places. It's a shame, because Priyadarshan is usually a great director. "Usually". He didn't even always do comedy in his early days. He did an action-drama with Jackie Shroff called Gardish in the early 90s which was a good film in its own rights, even if driven by 90s Bollywood cliches
