Hey patrons! Here's the latest in postcards and sketchbook pages.
I went to a fundraising concert at Portland Center Stage and had some great luck with seating:
Larry Owens aka Zach from Abbott Elementary sang Sondheim. It ruled.A couple that I'm friends with just moved to Greece, and this was their goodbye hangout.

If this is your preferred vibe, check out Thatcher's on Stark! The pours are generous and the tater tots are good, too.I'm really enjoying the autumn foliage this year. I've been taking photos and painting them indoors, but it still feels like I'm making time for a seasonal activity.

There were a couple of years in a row that I missed the window (for example, I did this postcard in December 2023):
I miss being around the field trips at the children's theater, but I don't miss the field trip spreadsheets and invoices!
The latest in local bikey news:
I testified in support of bus lanes on 82nd Ave. There's a committee with people from TriMet, PBOT, ODOT, and more. They won't make a decision til early 2026. Fingers crossed.
The War on Cars podcasters are in Portland! They'll be at Bike Happy Hour on Wednesday and at Powell's Books on Thursday. It will be embarrassing if their Seattle show sells out and the Portland show doesn't, I'm just saying.
Thanks, as always, for supporting me on Patreon!
