ANIMATION RELEASE: Dogfight: Scooby's Revenge
Added 2020-11-05 02:34:44 +0000 UTCJust like everyone voted in a previous poll, the next animation about Scooby's revenge is here! I tried many new things with this animation, like a more dynamic camera, effects animation, and explosion animation. A silly yet epic animation, my favorite type heheh
On top of that, this is the FIRST animation that I hired extra help using the support and funds from you guys! It was just for the backgrounds for this one, but I hope to expand it even further beyond :)
Thank you to Strelok for his amazing SFX audio editing, as well as Sander the Composer for creating the last song at the end. And ofc thank you to everyone here who made this possible!

2020-11-07 19:46:00 +0000 UTCNarmak, your sense of humor is sometimes a little too bizarre for me (or occasionally WAY too bizarre; case in point, the first video of your "Shaggy vs Scooby" saga!); although sometimes it really is hilarious (I love your "Johnny Johnny Yes Papa" video!). But the biggest reason I love your work enough to support you here is because of your action animation, and this video is a great example why: because it's clear that you have a deep love for the exact same kind of over-the-top, over-9000 flair to your shounen action that I can't get enough of. From the gorgeous frame-by-frame impacts at 0:26 and 1:07, to Scooby's Byakuya/Undyne-style energy weapons, to the Evangelion-style beam and barrier at 3:25 (WAS the beam advancing to a higher tier at 3:28 inspired by Remiel (the 6th Angel) in Evangelion? Because I seem to remember it doing something like that, and I loved the twist on a sustained beam barrage, both there and here!), to Puppy's DBZ-style martial arts; it's all genuinely awesome! And that genuinely high-quality action, in turn, is what really sells the joke of how it contrasts with whatever shitposty nonsense it's occurring with; they're production values that absolutely DO NOT BELONG alongside lolrandom internet humor, and yet somehow, there they are together! I'd love to see what you could do with some more serious work, either alone or in collaboration with others; because I hope you realize that you're a seriously talented animator. But, of course, I don't expect you to ever stop making the goofy ideas that you (and many others!) clearly love so much, either; and as long as at least some of them continue to be this good, you can count on me to keep following along for the ride!
