Hunting Hound

This one has taken quite a while to write, and when you open the PDF I'm sure you'll see why: this one is long. Really long. Practically a novella, in fact. Good news for those of you are fans of this setting! I just really wanted to do the story justice.
Leinth, a rebel pilot, is taken prisoner by the enemy. In confinement, she finds that she's not alone. Sartha Thrace, her personal hero, is there too. She soon finds that it's not the Sartha Thrace she once admired, but with no other source of company or comfort, she has no choice but to put her faith in Sartha. Can she lead Sartha back to herself? Or is this all simply a game being orchestrated by Sartha's mysterious handler?
As usual for this setting, this one is very dark, so be warned! Enjoy!
P.S. how do people feel about infrequent, longer stories like this? I'm curious to hear if any of you have strong opinions!
