Future Directions (Poll)

Hey all! This is going to be a quick announcement, followed by a poll about what you'd like me to focus on in terms of writing - with a fair bit of explanation attached. So, let's get into it

First of all, for the first week of this month I decided to take a bit of a break as, to be honest, I badly needed it. But I've been writing again, and the next chapter of Fall of Star Sentinels has just been posted for $10 patrons. It'll be accessible for $5 patrons next week as usual, and of course, now that I'm back in the swing of writing you can expect a continuous stream of fresh smut after that

One of those will be the story for the $10 patron story poll I posted last week. I mention that because, unusually, after a whole week of voting there's actually a tie between two options. I have to admit, I didn't quite expect that, so I'm not totally sure what to do. I think almost everyone has voted, but I'll leave it up another day or two, so if anyone hasn't voted yet or wants to upgrade their pledge and get the deciding vote, now's the time. If it remains a tie, I'll flip a coin for it, or something

Now, this poll. For the last couple months, I've been really really enjoying all the writing I've been doing for you, and judging from the healthy state of my Patreon, you've largely been enjoying it too. I'm very pleased with that! But I'm also the point where I'm kind of overflowing with different ideas about all the different kinds of things I could write, and unfortunately there are only so many hours in each day. That's where you come in. As my patrons, I'm really really keen to get your input about this. As you can see, this poll isn't so much about different stories in particular as it is about different general ideas I could pursue. I really just want to know where I should be focusing my energies, and your opinions about that matter to me a lot

Most options are hopefully self-explanatory, but the last one isn't. Basically, for a while now I've been toying with the idea of implementing a system where you all get to suggest prompts for me, and then everyone gets to vote on which prompts I write. These would probably be 2-3k words each, so maybe each month could have a 'prompt week' where instead of a single, long, story, I write a bunch of different prompts, all suggested and voted on by you. What do you think? If you like the idea, please let me know, and we can give it a try!

These options aren't exactly mutually exclusive so I'm letting you vote on as many as you're interested in, and I'll try to let what I do be guided by the balance of opinions I see.
