Cyber Surgery
Added 2025-09-22 09:59:19 +0000 UTCFor a long time, I've had this dream mod that I've always wanted for Fallout 4, and I had no idea how to make it. This week, I started learning. Let's talk about it.
I've always wanted a cybernetic surgery mod, where I can visit some sort of surgeon and replace my limbs with robot parts. Permanently. Then have further "upgrades" to the limbs to give special bonuses (maybe as a way to increase special stats, or give the player extra perks, or whatever). It took me...what, four days, I think?...just to be able to replace my right arm and equip my vault suit without everything breaking. But progress is being made.
I just wanted to see if anyone else was interested in this, and if so, what sorts of limb add-ons would you want to see? Because I think it would be cool to have like..."Dextrous Fingers" to give you a lockpicking perk or something, you know? Stuff like that.
Anyway, I just wanted to post an update since I've been pretty absent lately, especially from Twitch. I'll try to get back into that. My mind is being consumed by cybernetic surgery and outfit studio and nifskope and it's awful but god dammit I want this mod so bad.

I really love this idea. And I think that getting perks to go along with the limbs is a pretty awesome idea.

2025-09-22 23:01:23 +0000 UTC(terribly sorry for the spam but last post promise) Rimworld has some bionics- elbow blades, nuclear stomach (basically lead belly), pleasure chip (+DR, -INT), ... apart from that you could interact with aquaboy(jet legs), and adamantium skeleton, have slottable expensive skill chips that give player more perk points... with chip limit decided by Intelligence? Ability to use the robot expert hacking perks at a distance. Oulandish ideas- hoverlegs that let you smoothly float like handy robots (or a simple agility bonus); an extremely modded player would be very strong but require repair kits instead of food/stimpacks. Fusion cores as temporary overclocks?
