Astrid stepped aside and saluted, as did the nearby troops. Fiona waved to the army, tossed a few coins to the mercenary, and dismissed her. Under normal circumstances, Rowena would have been glad to see any mercenary go. But now the sisters focused their attention on the matter at hand—her.
