Bugs - afterthoughts
Added 2025-03-01 20:40:20 +0000 UTCGuys on the Coin tosser and Digger tiers, don't worry, this project will be open to you after early access period expires. And also later I will upload text-less version and some loops for this piece.
And for now... I need to collect my thoughts and experience. I really need to reevaluate my approach to such projects. Life likes to kick me in the balls and I really-really(fucking really) need a win right now. But I won't get a win if I will continue working in the old ways. My approach to animation is more or less good for the single pose/loop type. Plus as I can see, animation with lesser details is just as pleasurable, I don't need to dig in with details and accurate lineart for each frame. Cool motion arrangement and smoothness, overall pose and soundtrack is far more advantageous.
On top of that, I need to change my approach to planning. No more side-tracking, no more "i figure that out later", no more develop it as it goes. To each project there's have to be a decent plan and firm execution. Instead of drawing it first then making it work, I should try to experiment more, sketch -> quick test -> evaluation and decision. It's especially important for the much bigger projects like WotR and Corrupted Island, I cannot allow myself to fuck it up on a much broader field.
