My plans for September

Hello Patreons,

A lot of fun games are coming out this month that I'm planning on giving a try! As always, I'm open to game suggestions that you would like to see, so feel free to post any game you're excited for (or maybe one you've already played) down below in the comments.

This month has a few big releases that I want to check out:

• Age of Mythology Retold

• Space Marine 2

• Frostpunk 2

I played Age of Mythology a little when it first came out, but not nearly as much as other RTS games. I'm not sure if I will do a full playthrough of the campaign, but I will give it a shot. My understanding is that the campaign is quite long, and I'm not sure how well it holds up in 2024, but it should be fun to go on a nostalgia trip. I may try out some 1v1 as well, we will see.

Space Marine 2 is looking amazing. Certainly has a "Game of the Year" vibe so far. I recently played the first Space Marine game from 2011 and I had a great time (VODs will be on More Lowko on YouTube soon). If it is even remotely as good as the game they are promising, it should be amazing.

Last but not least, Frost Punk 2. I played the first Frost Punk game a lotttttt. Finished all the DLCs, played all the hardest game modes. That said, I gave Frost Punk 2's beta a try when it first was available earlier this year and I didn't really love it. I'm hoping they have made improvements since then to make it more fun. There was less base building and a lot more focus on the city's politics instead. I'm still planning on playing through the whole game on at least the normal difficulty regardless. Should be fun!

Besides that I will also continue mini painting. I build and prepped a Slann Starmaster model recently that I will begin painting on stream this week. I also have a Harbinger of Decay that I want to do a good job on.

I have no events online or offline scheduled for September, so this should be a complete month of streams and videos. Really excited for this month. It's going to be fun!
